Valhall Sons of Norway Inc. is a California Corporation. Originally, it owned the lodge’s lodge hall. After the hall was sold, the Corporation invested the proceeds. The income from those investments pay the rent on the place where the lodge meets. That income also pays for certain other expenses as specified in the Corporation documents.
The Corporation has a 7-member board that the members of the lodge elect. The President of the lodge is an ex-officio member of the Corporation board. Each of the other six members serve 3-year terms. Two board members have expiring terms each year.
